iPhone app · Public beta

SafeHaul for iPhone.

The route your permit allows, in an app built for the cab: Google Maps, turn call-outs by voice, and the drive recorded with the phone locked. Same account as safehaul.app.

Free · iPhone with iOS 17 or later · installs through Apple’s TestFlight

Apple’s free app for trying beta apps. Get it from the App Store.

In the app

What the app does.

Add a permit from the phone

Scan the permit's QR code, photograph or upload it, or type its number.

The permitted route

Each permit's route on Google Maps, with the load facts and the permit's conditions: travel hours, speed limits, escorts.

Turn by turn, out loud

Start Trip navigates the permitted line in the app and calls out turns at 2 miles, at half a mile and at the junction — with the phone locked, too.

Off the line, right away

A warning the moment the truck leaves the permitted route — not a report afterward.

Every drive on the record

Trips keep recording with the phone locked, and each drive gets a certificate showing how closely it followed the permit.

One SafeHaul

Your permits, routes and drive history are the same in the app and on safehaul.app.

Questions

Straight answers.

What is TestFlight?
Apple's own app for installing beta versions of iPhone apps. SafeHaul's beta is open to anyone with the link.
Do I need an invite?
To install, no. To use SafeHaul, you need an account: your company invites you, or you create one in the app and we approve it by hand.
How do updates work?
TestFlight installs each new version as we release it — keep its automatic updates on. A beta version stops opening 90 days after its release, so staying updated keeps you going.
How do I tell you something's wrong?
Take a screenshot in SafeHaul and tap Share Beta Feedback — it comes straight to us. For a route that doesn't follow the permit, tap Report on the route.
Not on an iPhone?
SafeHaul works in any phone's browser at safehaul.app — log in there with the same account.
